Let me get this clear.

I am a Texan fan. I am not a Houston fan. I root for my team whether 16-0 or 0-16.

But I refuse to be a part of a fan base that does this kind of shit. These kind of fans are losers at life.

Y! SPORTS

Yeah but when the fan base starts going to people's houses....

We want a better QB. Well, now, what superstar QB with a wife and kids will want to play for a team where fans will be so low as to come to his house and start shit?

These idiots need to be outed and given the Bartman treatment. Run the hell out of Houston!

Wow what a great reflection on their fanbase... These type of people shouldn't be considered fans. Sad truth is that they are everywhere, in every sport.

Every team has idiot fans, so I would never blame an entire fan base for something like this. Fact is there are a lot of idiots out there.

People need to get lives. I have seen years of terrible QB play on my team and I never would do something like that. Sanchez has held the team back but I think hes a decent person, just a terrible QB. Though there were a lot of idiot Jets fans sending him personal attacks on twitter.

Social media attacks is one thing... And if that was the story, i would say its no big deal... but the fact that the fans went to the guys HOME, that is just wrong...

unfortunately fanship these days is changing, and not for the better. look at last year's example at KC when Matt Cassel was injured during a game at Arrowhead...and the fans CHEERED. talk about low class...

look at the way some fans carry on in these boards and you realize there's a definite down-turn with the way some fans carry themselves these days...

Wow...this is fucked up. I dunno what's worse this, or Cardinal fans vandalizing Donovan McNabb's house in Chandler, AZ a few years ago after he led the Birds to a win over the Cards.

No worst then those Idiots in Chicago that jump on the field and started beating up the first base coach. There are idiots who live every where.

Nah - I would say that fans in the past were as bad or worse. Security was not as good in the past which allowed fans & players to mix it up & it often got ugly. I read a book about Ty Cobb & he recanted stories about fans in Philly who supposedly were ready to shoot him in the outfield (something that obviously could not happen now).

There are idiots everywhere who root for every team under the rainbow. For whatever it is worth - at least it is safer here than for overseas soccer matches where there have been numerous stories of deaths. As for this forum - comes with the territory - people magically grow a pair when they are anonymous & there is no consequence to their actions.

Or both the idiot fans & players who participated in that ugly mess between the Pistons & Pacers several years ago.

According to HPD the story is BS.

There was a report of a suspicious guy taking pictures and driving away. That was it.

As much as I enjoy sports and occasionally get too invested in games I never forget the fact that they are millionaire athletes that don't know I exist. It's not worth it to let your rooting interest negatively impact your life. I used to have season tickets for the Devils and I saw fights break out all the time between different fanbases and I never understood running the risk of getting injured or going to jail over what? You're essentially rooting for laundry.

The current media (on all sides - in sports & other areas) is a complete joke right now - it is as if they have a license to lie and exaggerate everything. Take this example that I took from the Redskins forum regarding Obama's recent comments. Here is what he basically stated:

President Barack Obama says he would "think about changing" the Washington Redskins' name if he owned the football team as he waded into the controversy involving a word many consider offensive to Native Americans.

Now here is what was reported by several media outlets:

"Obama to Redskins: Get a New Name" (Politico)
"Obama Scolds Redskins" (Wall Street Journal)
"President Obama is not a Fan of the Washington Redskins' Name (Bloomberg Businessweek)
"Obama Backs Washington Redskins Name Change" (Christian Science Monitor)

What a bunch of BS! Also - do you believe any of these outlets or the people who work there actually give a crap about Native Americans or doing the right thing? Hell no! It is all about making a name for yourself even if it means lying or ruining other people's lives. Most of these folks are just plain scum.

Are you telling me the media sensationalized a story to create an attention grabbing headline?

I am completely shocked.....
