Check SpringStein, his was already unchecked..

and now I am getting more emails after I unchecked mine.

I also thought it was weird that I always signed in as Draft Crazy but suddenly when I went to sign back in it came up as my email address as my sign in. I know you can sign in as both but I never changed that. Not sure that means anything or not, but the email thing is off the hook right now. I am starting to think the only way around it is to change my email address to something I won't use.

Hmmm.... did you uncheck both boxes? I'm looking to see what else could be causing the emails. Like I said before, I only get one per week.

There is another check box for emails. If you are also in a private conversation with another member, there is a box under: "contact details" , "messaging preferences" that if checked will send an email whenever there's a response.

I have never private messaged anyone since siging up so it shouldn't be that. Just sent you one though to see if I could even find the options under that.

Yes. I have it unchecked to automatically follow threads.

The system won't send emails if you unselect that option. Please change your email address or filter the emails. Since this isn't a widespread problem there's no explanation for what happened but no one else is reporting it. Filtering emails is very simple.

Also, maybe you can go into the "watched threads" and "watched forums" tabs and delete anything in there. Could be something residual involved....

Just an FYI - Mingo isn't posting this am because he can't. I've sent a message to Hammer about it. His message was that his registration email was blocking them.

SpringStein- I am still getting these emails... Really annoying so what I did was the last email I got at the very bottom of the message there is something you can click on that says disable all emails from this site. Click on that then it automatically takes you to SportsHoopla and asks if you want to update your settings to disable all watched threads just hit submit or whatever the option is. I already have that box unchecked so not sure why it is having me do it again but try that and see if it works. If you cant figure it out I can do it for you if you want me to log into your email.

Sounds like some sort of glitch going on with new people. I can see how this would be annoying. I certainly hope we don't lose you guys due to this. That would be a shame. Sorry I wasn't more help though.

Thanks George - and by golly you are correct about Medicare - probably because you will be filing a couple of months ahead of me, but I've spent at least a decade being wrong about when I was eligible.
