I have always maintained SB's are team awards, and HOF stepping stones. There are too many GREAT qb's without a ring for me to use them to measure how good or bad a player is. This goes for all sports. Ted Williams never won the WS. Yet he is one of the greatest to ever play the game.
Eli got lucky. Eli did not carry that team on his back on the way to those Championships. Eli would not have any championships if he played his whole career for the Cowboys. The Giants normally have a better defense than the Cowboys and much better coaching staff.
I laughed earlier in the season when the team was saying it wasn't Eli's fault. he didn't have blocking. Yet Everyone was pointing out before this season how Eli this & that was better than Romo. They would never take into consideration the team around them or the Oline. Now that Eli has to play with the type of Line Romo has played with most of his career. Eli is horrible. Romo has never played this bad, with the same kinda lines. Had this argument about Eli for years. Now this year I am sure those that want to argue will find something else, but I think this year shows who can do what with little.
He has two rings....I would trade Eli for Romo in a heatbeat...Eli is a winner and has won in the clutch. Also, he has a 3-1 or 750 winning percentage at the Cowboy's home stadium.
