To be fair....Rivers had only about 3 years in which he had a legit shot to win a SB in his 13 year career, and one of those years he limped into an AFC title game on one knee when Tomlinson was on the sidelines. The rest of his teams have been basically a .500 units or worse and that clearly isn't on him. I'd certainly would be more critical of the guy had he been QB'ing a 12-win team year in, year out and failed to personally deliver.

He's not terrible...he's just overrated/overhyped. He's been a pretty good/top 10-ish QB for basically his entire career, but he's a QB that merely rides the tide. He'll perform well when surrounded by talent, and suffer when he isn't - he's not the guy to carry the load.


tell me, what's his greatest attribute, and please don't say he's durable, cause if he played back when you could actually hit a QB, he'd been long gone by now!
