Better, but I need a full 8' bed and nothing but a 2 seat cab. Ford, Dodge, Chevy, someone will make one eventually.

I had two Ram 2500, regular cab and 8' bed in a row. The first from 03 to 07 and the second since 07. Worked them both hard, plowed a shit ton of driveways with both and pulled large trailers with both with zero major issues.

The Hemi is a thirsty engine for sure, but there is no such thing as a economical work truck.

Where do we get all this 'lectricity from if everything goes electric?

Generating 'lectricity costs energy. Coal. Nuke. Hydro. Every step to your vehicle loses energy. Ineffcient.

Solar. Infancy.

Not sure it's the answer.
100 pecent agree with you. Solar tech isnt being funded like i thought it would, or should.

I made a mistake with my dodge, no power windows or locks. All my tenants approached from the passenger side, couldn't deal with it. Traded it in last May for my Ford. Been happy so far. Power windows and locks. :-)

Oddly enough, I spotted my now Ford Focus RS, which I purchased a week later. All black and a hoot to drive.

My Dodge's are/were both SLT packages with cloth seats, AC, power windows and locks etc. Nothing too fancy, but comfortable to drive. My buddy is a contractor and he always buys plain Jane work trucks with crank up windows, vinyl seats and rubber floor mats. His trucks suck. :dhd:

I wouldn't much care about electric powered vehicles but for 3 things.

They potentially drive up the price of a megawatt. For everybody. Supply and demand.

And some places (employers, business, cities) allow free charging. We have 3 in my town. What the fuck. No free gas pumps and I'm currently paying $1.789/litre Cdn. For Chevron 94 octane.

And the actual supply of electricity. If everybody suddenly had electric cars only.... Only so many hydro damns so fallback is nuke/coal/fossil fuel generators with all their flaws and nowhere near being on line anyway. Quick charge solar panels on the roofs would be a great idea if possible. But of course they aren't currently.

Torquey though. Now power.
