Tough break for Udoh to get injured after his breakout performance. This is the type of injury that lingers as well. You could tell he wasn't getting much lift at all in the Suns game.
I think the Clips game showed what he's capable of. He still needs to get some consistency going. If he can come out after the All Star break and put together a few 10 pt, 6 rebound efforts, that will be a big step in my book.
I think he needs to start now. It's not even a question he brings so much more to the table than anyone else at the center position. Instead of giving Andris his 6 minute starters minutes at each half, let him use those minutes as a break between quarters for Udoh and give him 30+ minutes a night. They really don't have anything to lose by doing this.
Mark Jackson said that Udoh will start the rest of the year, barring any huge set backs in his play. Definitely the right call here. Biedrins offers nothing.
