Edmonton Signs G Scrivens, 2 years $2 Mil

The Edmonton Oilers have liked what they've seen from goalie Ben Scrivens and signed him to a two-year deal on Monday.

According to TSN hockey analyst Aaron Ward, the deal is worth just over $2 million per season.

Looks like they finally found their goalie.

This is a pretty nice signing by the Oil which makes me wonder if Lowe was out of town when pen was put to paper.

In the few games I've seen of him, Scrivens has looked solid. He even had that ridiculous 60 save shutout against the Sharks.
