Yeah now that you mention it Gilmore may have been the better choice.Allowing just a field goal to a team that was scoring 32 points a game, while scraping out just 13 points themselves, and people still feel the need to give the MVP to an offensive player. It's nuts.
Edelman had a fine game, but come on. It's Gilmore or the defensive line.
I agree with Gilmore, that play alone where he came from the opposite side of the field to break up the for sure Brandin Cooks touchdown was a thing of beauty. I despise the Pats, but as a former defensive back I have to give some love to him. Gilmore must have broke up at least 7 passes.

Excellent viewpoint. Agree completely.C'mon guys. Gilmore played a solid game but the int was a gift and the Pats front created a lot of piss poor throws by Goff. The entire defense played great and the scheme was poor perfection. Made McVay and Goff look like amateurs. The defense was a complete 11 man effort.
