Game 1 Tuesday night - Las Vegas Wranglers win 1-0 - At the 17:44 mark of the second overtime period Huddy picked up the loose puck and skated in with defensemen Jamie Fritsch cutting to the back door. Huddy faked the pass and then laced a shot straight through the five-hole of Kuhn to score the lone goal of the game and lift the Wranglers to the 1-0 victory.
Game 2 Wednesday night - The Idaho Steelheads and Las Vegas Wranglers skated deep into overtime before Idaho’s Dustin Friesen scored 8 minutes, 13 seconds into the third extra session for a 3-2 win, evening the teams opening-round ECHL playoff series at a game apiece.
