Yes it was.

Our offense had the same core (mostly very young then), but the defense is largely different. That was at the beginning of the turnaround. I was amazed we took that series to 7 games after the run we had to go on just to make the playoffs that year.

I don't know - I like our puck possession so far. Both teams playing good D and limiting quality shots. Caps have had a good shot openings, Flyers a couple rebound chances - but both D have shut it down quickly.
