Agreed too fucking cute on the offense... we wait too damn long with the puck... hell on the 4th PP, we didnt have a shot on goal, but they had two shorthanded... what the hell.... this PP looks like the terrible one from the last three years... bad angle shots from elias along the sides of the boards or zach trying to walk out in front... or bad passes by Kovy threw 3 sticks that never make it... Zid looked aful in the third tonight... everything he did was just horrible... Just a sad game... 0-5 on PP while giving up PP goals... plus ANOTHER shutout for queen henry. I dont undersand how we outplay them all game, then they score one (again on the PP) and its over... its like game 1 all over again...

Oh and by the way... Nice fucking effort on the empty netter there zajac. Not only did you pass it up the point where no one was... but then as the puck was going to the net, you almost stoped and watched it while Calahan ( I think) flew past two of you all watching the puck to bury it... not that it wasnt game over anyway... but still NO FUCKING EFFORT.... It is the playoffs you know... play like it is.... Whole team needs to wake up....

crap....missed the 3rd but had this feeling we were going to pay for all those blown chances.
I agree this was a team loss. We should have had several on Padqvist before the first goal.
Need to move on and win game 4

Way too many chances early...again. I could see that third period coming from a mile away. Credit Lundqvist, he played out of his mind again. But still, one of those goes in, as PDB said, it's a completely different game. Have to score one early, that's the key. The longer it goes, the more confidence Hank has, and clearly, the less the Devils have. After those two goals, did anyone on here honestly think we'd even score one after that? I didn't, and that's a bad feeling to have.

Devils captain Zach Parise declined to speak to the media after today’s 3-0 loss. He walked through the locker room with his head down, looking pretty upset, and did not acknowledge requests for him to stop.

Parise sat in the Devils’ locker room for lengthy periods of time following the Game 1 loss and the Game 2 win at Madison Square Garden.

He also answered all questions following Friday’s practice, but declined to comment on his father, J.P’s, interview with Newsday in which talked about the idea of Zach playing for the Rangers.

When asked what he thought of Parise avoiding the media, DeBoer said, “I don’t know anything about that. But if he did, he’s got good reason. I don’t have anything to say about that.”

DeBoer also asked if Parise was frustrated by the series.

“No, I don’t think so,” he said.

I didn't play and I'm pissed we didn't win can only imagine how Parise feels. This team has to find a way to get into Padqvist head and make him feel less confident.
We are clearly the better team playing out there but the Rags seem to find a way.

It's nice that the Devils took the advice of Lil' Jon with their: shots shots shots shots shots shots, approach. But we need more quality shots. And a few of them have to go in. Better luck would help but so would going to the net and getting in better position for a potential rebound.
