Foul still didn't happened at 3 using that clock you clown. TNT clock is a tenth faster so foul took place at 2.8 instead of 2.7 using that clock....still not 3 seconds

Correct. In what world is a whistle blown and play is stopped instantaneously? There’s no more than 2.7 seconds left based on that look because of when the foul occurs.

The foul actually stops play instantly. The split seconds for the whistle is actually accounted for in the replays which is why time is added in these situations. Based on the frames shown, the clock above the basket is at 3.0 seconds when they claim the foul occurred. So that's why they set the clock to 3 seconds. When they blew the whistle and stopped play, that's when the clock ran down to 2. whatever. It would be nice to have one more frame in that replay center angle (one from the baseline to confirm contact) but based on the replay, I can see how they would make the call they did.

But if yall are such a stickler for accuracy, you could just as easily make the case Butler double dribbles before the foul so this never should have happened.

Thats not happening. Strus defense isn't the problem. Primary defenders on Tatum tonight was mostly Butler and Caleb. Highsmith should play but spo clearly doesn't think so i won't bother getting my hopes up. There's only one way they win on Monday

Problem with Duncan is he picks up fouls easy (sometimes his fault and other time short end of the stick from refs as we saw in the 4th tonight). Strus is a little better on defense and don't pick up the silly calls. Even if they were to bench strus (im sure they wont), it would not be for Duncan

The official clock is the one above the rim. TNT clock was off by .1

The foul took place at 2.7 on the tnt clock so 2.8 on the official clock

As i said before, there was nothing happening at 3 seconds. No illegal contact
