when was the last time a team came back from being down 0-2, to win the series 4-2 in the conference final? OKC over the Spurs in 2012?

Doesn't happen quite often. I know Miami did it to Dallas in 06.

Van Vleet is now a border line top 10 player from the 2016 class.

They also got Siakam in that same class.

2 of the best players from that draft in a pretty weak class

And neither was looked at as a sure-fire NBA player when drafted. Goes to show that you can find quality players outside of the lotto.

#Ibelieveinmasai

As I said a couple of weeks ago, don't worry about Masai going to the Lakers even if they somehow come calling. He's not going anywhere. He has stability and was able to upgrade the roster with the Kawhi trade.

Also, I'm going to brag about the decision of Toronto moving on from Casey; Nick Nurse looks to be an upgrade so far. The one thing that hasn't been talked about much is that Lowry is starting to become consistent in the playoffs.

She should have asked him hard questions.

"So Kwame, you didn't give a shit about SA even though they were all in for you and you got a title where you were a solid roll player. Now that you're an undisputed max deal stud, what team are you going to better deal the raptors for?"

Not sure if you're attacking Kawhi or not, but not sure how SA was all in for Kawhi given that they clearly didn't value his long-term health given that some of the Spurs players started attacking him publicly. Also, I wouldn't call Kawhi a role player given his time in SA given that he was the Finals MVP in 14.

I think we were in agreement that once Kawhi was traded to Toronto that this would put them in the lead for making the Finals as well. Having said that, I was one of those guys that was guilty as well for thinking that Milwaukee was going to dominate Toronto.

If Toronto makes the Finals, and makes it competitive with GS, I have a really hard time seeing Kawhi go elsewhere.

Not going to lie, I thought the same but I stuck with my pick but had very little confidence in it. I looked at the season series (3-1 in favor of Toronto) and looked at how both teams played leading up to this series and all signs pointed towards Bucks in 5 or 6

@tlance now that this series is going at least 6 games, I can say I'm satisfied with the playoffs. The first round was ok, 2nd round was epic, and now the conference finals is good as well.

Just hope the finals don't let me down. Would like to see that be a 6 or 7 game series as well

Yeah but Mr. Wiggy think if you don't land a top 5 pick then you can't find talent for the rest of draft.

I actually think there's more pressure on Toronto than the Bucks on Saturday night.

Let's be honest, we didn't expect the Bucks to have this kind of season back in October (and I'm sure they didn't either) so it won't be a big deal if they lose. They will look at it as a great year and come back next year better.

Toronto on the other hand got to look at it as a game 7. May be their only shot to make the finals because we have no clue what Kawhi will do come July 1st. Lose on Saturday, I don' think you win a game 7 in Milwaukee

Yeah, the funny thing is guys like Nick Wright whom once KD went down, practically congratulated Milwaukee for winning the NBA title like it was a sure thing they would get past Philly/Toronto.

The funnier part to me would be if GS wins and KD doesn't play 1 minute in the Finals. He'd have his titles, but people that brought up GS winning before him will surely bring up GS winning without him....again.

Guessing you mean 3-1 for Milwaukee. They pretty much owned the regular season series.

/Raps swept the Warriors 2-0, for the record :D

The Leafs were up 3-2 on Boston this year in the first round and had a chance to close it at home and blew it and the series.

I'm not taking anything for granted here.

I just think Canada will get big tv time if they made it really
If this were almost any team other than Milwaukee I think the NBA would be sweating a little. Giannis has a bit of star power but it's a small market.

Ratings will be down from last year (as they have all playoffs in the east because no Lebron) but there'll still be sufficient interest, there are more than enough Toronto expats scattered across the US to give them a little more meat and they will smash records north of the border which can only be great for league revenues.

Raptors could be well into the top ten in franchise value by this time next year if they do make the final, especially if Kawhi stays.

It's not over yet, but I have to call myself out on this one.

I said Toronto wasn't deep enough to win this series and Kawhi was logging too many minutes...I couldn't have been more wrong. Bottom line...Kawhi is the best player on the court and he's dominating this series. The MVP favorite Giannis is looking pretty avg.

Toronto seems to play pretty well under pressure
