Actually only a few out of the fans that are in a game "pay to see the best players in the world... The vast majority out of the fans that pay to be in the arena pay to see their team win... I any case, the change of the rule that you suggest would destroy the game. Every player on the floor would run on the player that has 5 (or more) fouls in the last minutes, so that he can get three points out of their best shooter.

Yeah, I agree. That rule change will hurt the game. It's not as extreme as other suggestions I've seen other fans make. On another site, a Spurs fan suggested that teams should be allowed to pick what part of the court gets you 3 points. For example, a team could choose to make shots in paint worth 3 points. Same person also suggested that blocking a shot should earn a team 1 point and that scoring off a steal should a earn a bonus point.

Don't they run at them now to foul them out.

Yes... but they don't secure 3 points out of their best shooter now!

Even worst, it will be "tactics" for some coaches to sucrifice a couple of role players so that they can shoot "safe 3s" later...

Yeah... I've seen that... simply ridiculous!

When you can explain exactly what a foul in the NBA is, they I would agree.

Whatever the refs decide at the time. Best explanation I can give.

I don't think I've seen Giannis turn it over as much as he did last night

If Lebron had a game like that he would have been crucified. Just an awful game by Giannis.

I think we can all agree he is a great player but he has a hell of a team around him and damn good supporting cast, especially for a team with no other real stars other than Giannis.

I think we should all sit back and realize how great Lebron really is and still is. Everyone forgets 2017 and 2018 playoffs by Lebron, two of the best ever through 15 games...

Kawhi is playing out of this world. Best two way player in the game right now

Don't they run at them now to foul them out.
One more thing. It is obvious that referees are slow to call the last foul on a superstar.
I am (as much as one can be a fan of laundry) a Bulls fan. But during the Bulls championship run of the 90's I always felt sorry for Luc Longley, Will Purdue, Bill Weddington and few others who were called for fouls to make up for the fouls not called on Michael Jordan. I saw calls made on these guys when they were so far away from player fouled that they could not touch them let alone foul them.
In today's game we see players tuck the ball like a running back and lead with their shoulder into the chest of the defender and get the foul called on the defender even if the defender was moving in the same plane.
The NBA is the only sport in which the rules are relaxed as the levels move up (grade school, high school , college and finally the NBA). The best example is that it is physically impossible for a player to have one bounce in front of him, take the ball around his back and have the next bounce be in front of him while never turning his body without carrying the ball. And yet it occurs every game without being called.

This series will never go to more than 5 games... I believe that game 3 of this series, will prove to be the most beneficial the Bucks could have... They were clearly missing a tough game with much physicality involved and lasted to the last minute after 2 OTs... They'll need this experience against GSW...

Yeah.

Before the playoffs, I said I thought Giannis was the best player in the league. He isn't, yet.

He needs to develop his shot, which is an obvious statement. Games like game 3 don't happen if he has an effective counter when opposing defenses are able to take away his driving lanes. It doesn't even have to be the 3 either. If he can consistently knock down the 15-18 footer off the dribble he will be unguardable.

He is still close because of his defense and playmaking, but he probably isn't as impactful overall as KD or even Kawhi.

But I honestly can't put LeBron in the convo for best player today. His defense has fallen too far. He is still great and if he can get the Lakers back in the playoffs next year, we can re-install him in the conversation. For now though, I am taking one of the guys whose team is still playing.

Fair enough. Kawhi could be the best SF defender in the NBA. Giannis is always a great defender. Offensively Lebron can still play just as good as anyone, we just havent seen him in awhile lol
