I think that matchup actually works out pretty well for the Rangers. Still think they'll lose but better than the Flyers or Bruins. I think all the top seeds move on.

One of the division winners isn't going to make it out of the first round. Seems like it happens every season.

Just did some fact checking on my previous claim.... the last time all three division winners from the EC advanced out of the first round was the 05-06 season, first year after the lockout. Since then, at least one of the top 3 seeds was out by round 2.

Last season, all three division winners were eliminated in round one!
