Thibs coached like shit last night let’s call it what it is
I always give coaches a lot of leeway because in the end it’s on the players. But last night was whacked at times.

Barely played towns and Hart in a must win game. I know towns ain’t the greatest but down in the 4th you could have used his offense earlier

Not calling a timeout only to have Brunson take that terrible shot

Also left Brunson on the bench way too long at the start of the 4th

Y'all like my new sig??

(Hopefully they win two more so I don’t need to change it back)
i suppose its a little early for congratulations- but gotta give it up to the Pacers.....it was just not the Cavs getting their pocket picked at the end of a game....Pacers are deep and talented. I hope they finish it off.

Yeah you can’t not call a timeout there, just not enough time to foul and get the ball back if you don’t.

I’m ok with no timeout there if the plan was a quick 2 but if you trying to tie the game? Got to call a timeout

His game management could be better but I'm not sure its gonna matter. Carlisle and the Pacers are picking apart his scheme like its nothing. They make 2 passes and get a good shot, 3 and its wide open. For a Thibs coached team, they don't look disciplined at all at times on defense. Lots of being a step or two out of position, helping a little too long, not switching at the right time, etc

I actually disagree.

I think it was the right move to not call timeout.

Only had 1 left I believe.

It was bad execution.

Brunson needed to attack off the dribble and either get the easy score at the rim of kick to an open shooter if the D were to collapse.

Then you save the TO for the next possession. When time is going to be shorter.

Exactly. If he gets an easy score, Knicks foul and Pacers make their FTs, Knicks could still call the TO and advance the ball to midcourt for the final possession
