Awful decision by Brunson on that 2nd to last possession. 14 seconds left there's still enough time to rush down court for a quick 2 and play the foul game. But if you're going for 3, work for a good shot. Instead he's a little slow going up the court and somehow rushes an awful 3. Worst possible outcome now because you got a low quality look and screwed yourself on time

And this is why I hate the foul game with a 3 point lead unless under 5 seconds.

Force the other team to make a play. More often than not they will make a mistake.

And if they hit the tough 3?

You still have a shot to win the game at the buzzer.

We have seen the foul game backfire at least twice in these playoffs and also seen the Pacers win last 2 games by not fouling.
