I don't think so just my opinion. Again the theory still doesn't work because in most likely case they would play GS, Spurs or OKC in the 1st rd and they wouldn't get past them.I think we'd beat Memphis and Dallas.

No way in hell. only team is Houston. The problem with your theory is they would of never played because Atlanta or Toronto would of been a 7th or 8th seed.
Ok so u just said they would be a 5 seed. So at #5 they would of played #4 and like I said wouldn't get out of the 1st rd. In the East they are in the ECF. Big Difference. The West had two 42-40 teams make the playoffs and also a 41-41 team. The West was not good this year after those top 4 teams
West was weaker than usual but still way better than the east. Unbalanced schedule has s little bit to do with teams in the west being 500The West had two 42-40 teams make the playoffs and also a 41-41 team. The West was not good this year after those top 4 teams

And I'll still take those teams over the bottom of the east in a 7 gm seriesSeeds 5-8 record against the East:
Portland 15-15
Memphis 17-13
Dallas 15-15
Houston 13-17

They won 2 out of 3 against the cavs in the reg season too. No chance that happened in playoffs with or without valencious(no clue how to spell it)There's not a lot of team in the league who would beat a healthy Clippers, Warriors, OKC, or Spurs team. Heck Cleveland would probably be the underdog against maybe 3 of those 4 teams.
For what it is worth, Toronto swept the Clippers in the season series. I know Toronto looks bad but when you're already not as good as Cleveland, you need all your players. People really don't understand how huge not having JV is for them. The only reason it did not seem like a big deal against Miami was because Miami did not have their center either

100% agree. portland in the playoffs would of beat every team in the east except cavs and maybe healthy miami team. regular season and playoffs are way different. damn my bulls beat cavs 3 times. they would win 1 game against the cavs in the playoffs(maybe). And I'll still take those teams over the bottom of the east in a 7 gm series
You're taking that beat up Memphis team over any of the bottom 4 teams?

Other than the top 3 teams in the West, it is overrated. More depth in the East but just not near to what Cleveland is. That is the difference
That's part of the problem with your theory. You're looking at the team Memphis had when the playoffs started. A healthy Memphis is probably the 2nd best team in the East. 3rd at worst.
