i read the article but the article i read never commented on what any proposed deal would have been.

Apparently 2 years ago with LeBron just coming back- Griffin had been pursuing Frye- until he needed the cap room for LeBron...I think Griffin liked Frye, and knew he was a really good clubhouse guy. It seems he is the guy behind Lil Kevin if i am not mistaken.

But as a featured guest Monday on 'The Vertical' podcast with Los Angeles Clippers guard J.J. Redick, Anderson had plenty to say. Anderson admitted he was almost dealt to the Cleveland Cavaliers but the potential trade deal got nixed at the last minute after they acquired forward Channing Frye instead.

''It was weird, this year, ridiculous before the trade deadline,'' Anderson said on 'The Vertical podcast. ''I thought I might I even go to Cleveland. So there was a very last minute phone call that I could have been in Cleveland. I would be playing for the Cavaliers right now, but instead they got Channing Frye."

Sources said in February the Pelicans' asking price was high for Anderson, and some teams were reluctant because they were unsure he could be re-signed after this season as a free agent. The Cleveland Cavaliers were active in trade discussions with the Pelicans, but no deal was finalized because they were unwilling to part ways with forward Kevin Love.

Eastern Conference is so weak. Raptors play no D at all and they struggle to score. This cavs team is giving false hope to their fans because once they run into a good team they will struggle.

I am not sure what just happened.

Cleveland just stood there and let Toronto foul them 90 feet from the basket over and over.

That is just horrible basketball.

Why were they committing so many idiotic fouls to a team in the bonus?

You are never going to score if the other team gets to set up their defense every time.

I think that is bullshit. The West were top heavy. Atlanta and Toronto (fully healthy) would and could have beaten seeds 5-8 in the west

Miami was the only real team that had a shot against Cavs. with an healthy whiteside.
