MKD has to prove he can get on the field
I agree that we should have to room to sign both.. But, In you opinion, what is the number where we walk away from each? Are you willing to pay DJax $12M per year for the next 4 years?A little bit of logic from the Snide remark
Why choose? The Redskins should bring back Pierre Garcon and DeSean Jackson.

But Washington will have about $60 million in salary-cap space next season when the overall team number is expected to be about $165 million. The Redskins could probably keep the pair of wideouts in Washington for as little as $16 million per year over the next four years. Adding a fourth season would sweeten deals compared to offers from other bidders, who might be hesitant to offer anything longer than three years for players at their age.

I think you lose them both at these levels. I expect DJ will get 10-11M and PG somewhere in the $8M range.I have stated my opinion on both.
DJ at 8 mil.
PG at 6.
I pay people to produce...not people that have produced. History is not kind to 30+ receivers. And in what world is 6 and 8 mil not getting paid a fair wage?
The same world where we continually lowball guys that have produced because we think we can replace them on the cheap, and then end up watching them go else where, still produce and we spend the next 3-5 years trying to replace them. But we saved a couple million.![]()
Show me?
He counts 8 mil this season and 9 mil next and the season after. You are counting two people against one but we still would have drafted either TM or PS...so count one of their salaries against RAK.
The Patriots have allowed Vince Wilfork, Chandler Jones, Jamie Collins, Richard Seymour, Aqib Talib and many more without a replacement.
