They also signed WR Chris Williams off of the Saints practice squad to take his spot on the active roster.

He's not as important as Jeffery or Marshall, obviously. Although, I think your fooling yourself if you think his role in this offense is irrelevant. IMO, he's really played well when we've needed him to step up this year. His rapport with Cutler goes back to their days as Vanderbilt teammates.

Bennett is also an excellent blocker, along with Jeffery and Marshall.

Just think Wilson will have to step up his game. He might even take the job away from Earl. Just looking at the bucks. Wilson working on rook contract . Earl getting big bucks. Just sayin, if Wilson shows well , provided Jay looks his way. There'd be no question about our #3 WR.
Yeah I know about the Vandy connection. But if you just look at talent, There's little doubt in my mind Wilson will sooner or later take Earls job.
I love what Earl brings to the table. But I think Wilson will bring more. JMO.
