How about every Thanksgiving is a repeat of the previous Super Bowl and the second game is the loser of the NFCCG and the loser of AFCCG and third game is the two teams with the worse records the previous year?

Those teams don't always play because of the fixed schedule so that would require an overhaul to the entire schedule.

Plus it would also in theory penalize the SB and NFC/AFC championship game teams by giving them tougher games assuming the teams they don't play would not be as good.

It's a short rest which I don't like and I also have to listen to other people talking while I'm trying to watch the game. So if the Eagles or some other team want it, I say give it to them. Now trying to convince Jerry to agree would be a fruitless task $$$
