I think the guy was just saying in general that the overall that it is a slower class than years past. Obviously Will Fuller is a burner.

He is a burner, but even though I like him, and he is a Philly kid, he's more like DJAX without the Diva.

If we could come out of this draft with our first 3 picks being Treadwell, Josh Garnett OG, and Kenneth Dixon Rb I'd dance a fuckin jig!

Please put that n You tube, so we can see that!

I thought I saw or heard someone saying that this was the slowest WR prospect pool in 20 years?

I think for a guy like Treadwell 40 speed isn't all that relevant ... he is so good at everything else like positioning, routes, hands, timing and overall feel for the position. Kind of like Cris Carter although I think he's faster than Carter. My guess is that he ends up running around 4.55 which would be good enough. Carter ran around a 4.65 (hand held time back then). Another comparison to Treadwell would be Larry Fitzgerald who ran a 4.63.

Meh on Fairley. He's a good player, but not really worth giving significant guaranteed money to.

Agree, the price has to be right ... he would be a solid #3, but if he wants starter type money I'd just look towards the draft for depth at DT.

I'm more pissed off that we allowed Andre Holmes to re sign with the Raiders.....Missed the boat there.

How about Duke Hopkins for a comparison. Treadwell is a little bit bigger, and Hopkins is a little quicker, but their game is pretty similar. Hopkins ran 4.57 at the combine.

I like Pharoh Cooper from South Carolina in rd 3....reminds me of a young Percy Harvin.

Yes, another good comparison. Plenty of really good receivers who never broke a 4.5 40; Antonio Brown only ran a 4.57 ... but when he gets on the field all that goes out the window and he looks like a 4.4 guy.

I have a feeling we will get either: Elliott, Stanley, or Treadwell.

I know - Captain obvious!

I'm ready for a stud RB. We can get a LG in FA or later in the draft. He would help the WRs too.

You have to believe we are drafting 2 Wr's we haven't brought any in. Andre Holmes and Mike Wallace both signed today. Both were guys that could have helped us. We have no #1 WR, we have no deep threat WR, and we have no receiver depth.

Depends on how they feel about Mathews, Agholor and Huff. This is not a very good receiver draft and free agency has been baron. I wonder if Howie isn't working the phones trying to trade for a receiver.

Well here is my thought process on this....Zeke is elite, an absolute stud RB, even better than Gurley. The total package...Why would I even think about him though at 8? Simple he is elite...how many Elite players do we have?
I actually have him pegged as a jack of all trades 'workhorse' guy.

Farley would be a good fit for the Eagles. Farley isn't going to show up on the stat sheet too often but he does his job.

You have to wonder if any of these Wr's they signed in offseason can break out.

Seantavious Jones was a star at Valdosta state, he is a big wr at 6'3 200 pounds....Word on the Saints boards was he was a star in camp last year and was put on the practice squad but was later released and Greg Lewis coached with the Saints last year and wanted him brought in....The fact that Lewis liked him gives me hope he could be something.

Xavier Rush is another WR we brought in he is 6'3 202 he has big play potential and was also a track star. He tore his ACL last year and missed the season.

both guys had big play potential in college

This is the guy I've brought up that I like. Wouldn't be mad at Zeke, a good guard, and Cooper.
