Per ESPN, the Eagles fire Chip Kelly. Guess that GM/coach experiment didn't work out so well.
I couldn't think of a better scenario. It would set the Eagles back years. But I have to believe Lurie has had enough of the college experience.
I'm disappointed myself. I was looking forward to more train wrecks involving the Eagles with Kelly driving the train.

The Eagles are in complete disarray, but Lurie has been a pretty good owner over the years. He made a mistake on Kelly. But I expect he will not make a similar mistake again. They probably have a few tough years ahead of them as they recover from the kelly debacle, but they will be back. He probably will first hire a competent GM and let him hire the HC.Oh no Jerry the GM, the guy who said being talked out of draftijg Johhny Football was a mistake that won't happen again, is there to stay. That's obviously good news. The Giants front office is proven and even though I'm not a big Eli guy they have proven that they can win with him. Still the clock's ticking on him. The Eagles situation may be the worst. The roster is a disaster with a few really bad contracts. And of course they have no QB at all.
