Roseman's press conference was just flat out bizarre. He was awful. All his answers seemed to be him indicating that they plan on Hurts being the QB of the future in a year or two. Kept stressing how Hurts won't challenge their pro bowl QB as a rookie. Then keep saying how Hurts represents where the league is going and they think he is going to be a great QB when asked about how the pick would be a waste if Wentz stays healthy and they never need to play him as a backup.

I loved the part where the talking heads kept mentioning a Taysom Hill type role. Sure, use a second round pick on a trick play artist for a handful of plays. Hill wasn't drafted, a far cry from a second round pick. If that is Philly's intent, Hurts has to be pissed. He could actually be an option for some teams. Now it's trick plays or wait for the inevitable injury.
