got a barter done with one of my favorite hosers-

I send 2.4, 2.8, and 3.11 to Barilko

I received-
2.1, 2.13, and 4.2.
Just a little position jockeying in the second round is about all it amounts to, but feels good to make a deal!

Speaking of, @TKOSpikes , random shot in the dark your way

I'm trying to jockey too, but I think I've run out of moves.

I joined another dynasty league and we're still in the 6th round of the startup draft. This will be my first time playing with IDP's. Who are some second year or third year players who are sleepers? We aren't drafting rookies yet.

What are the starting slots? Are they 'flex' IDP's, or is it by position, and how many?

What is an average game point total for an IDP? If a QB scores 20 fantasy points and a RB scores 10 fantasy points, we're okay with those point totals. What's a decent game for an IDP?

Your gonna be fairly satisfied with anything 10 or above. Anything higher than 15 is an extremely good week.

And like Smitty said, focus on those LB's, specifically those who play the middle. In a pinch a strong safety or a 'rush end' can can fill a bye week, but as a general rule, they're far too inconsistent to be your weekly starters.

With 3 spots to fill, depending on the amount of teams you've got, you might be rotating that third spot between some 'questionable' choices. 12 teams, 36 starting every week, and not every NFL team has a really good middle LB. more than 12 teams, those SS's and DE's start looking like much better options

As to when to draft 'em, it's difficult to really say, but I kind of look at it like this-
If you get to the point in the draft where all the available RB/WR's look to be in the same tier for the foreseeable next 2-3 rounds, and you've already got QB and TE locked up, that's when you can pull the trigger on an IDP. For me, that's probably no earlier than rd 8, probably more realistically 10ish. Some owners treat them like kickers

32 teams. LOL. We're in round 6 now. I better start picking some IDP's. Cedric Tillman is probably the best undrafted offensive player left. There are several good LB's left, such as Kaden Elliss, Daiyan Henley, Nakobe Dean, and Jamien Sherwood.

As far as scoring goes, a good IDP will avg 10+ pts - and yes, LBs are far more consistent. Of those left, Sherwood and Henley are in their mid-20's and appear to have the most upside - though there are a number in their late 20's that have consistently produced nice numbers - a few well into their 30's (Wagner).

Thanks. Elliss looks elite. I shouldn't be worried that he's 29?

32 teams! Yowzers. @MilkSpiller22 is cursing somewhere right now.

I don't disagree that LB is the most consistent scorer for IDP, but I love grabbing sack masters, as they have higher ceilings. I don't deny they can lay an egg too, but the good ones can be pretty consistent as well.
