Treff and I did a trade. I send Bucky Irving and Kenneth Gainwell for Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet.
Nice - Harold gathering them Hawks, Treff getting the surprise top tier rook of last yr. ....

I think the Seahawks are going back to being run heavy with the new OC. Hopefully Walker doesn't miss 5 games this season, but Char is a pretty good cuff if Walker misses games again. Not sure it was wise to trade Irving but feel this was a pretty even trade.

Nice trade. Both sides win. @TREFF gets the quality over quantity trade that he likes, as Bucky is the highest rated of these three backs, but you get two very good backs in return and they're both Seahawks.

Yeah I took on some risk as Walker not only missed a bunch of games but didn't look that effective a good portion of the season, Char actually played better then Walker. I'm counting on Walker rebounding, hopefully he has better luck with health, it's a contract year for him and the team seems determined to run more (was to pass happy last year), so I'm drinking the coolaid.
Irving looked great but it is a crowded backfield with White being the pass catching back and Tucker looking like the most explosive of the trio. All the backs are effective and on cheap contracts so I see no reason for the Bucs to change any thing in the backfield. New OC for the Bucs also, so what effect will that have on the offense? Coen, last year OC will be a tough act to follow.

I'm also worried about Bucky's size. He is a great runner, though.

29 is not old for a LB that has consistently performed without a drop in performance. The main thing with IDP's is to find those who are on the field 80-100% of the time. There are a number of site that track snap counts/percentages played. Do a search for 'every down IDP's' or 'every down LB's'. Some teams do a lot of rotating - those are the ones you want to avoid (NE is bad about that).
I've found that almost every yr there are a number of guys who just seem to fit a system and excel beyond their track record - keep an eye out for those. There are probably about 15 or so that excel no matter what (barring injury).

Thanks. If 30 is the age cliff for RB's, is it more like 35 for LB's? Like someone mentioned, Bobby Wagner is still awesome. I'm trying to draft Elliss. It just takes forever to get your turn again in a 32 team league. LOL.

He was the passing game coord last yr along with Coen. ... so, in-house - don't see much change in that respect.

And you as well. I still love Walker, but just over the injuries
I get that, because I had Walker in another league and he killed me being out so often, having Char as part of the trade gives me some protection. I do believe the Seahawks are going to pound the ball this season and I wanted some of that action. They need to make some move to upgrade the OL and think they will, the question is will it be enough to make the OL effective? The homer in me says YES it will. LOL

32 teams. LOL. We're in round 6 now. I better start picking some IDP's. Cedric Tillman is probably the best undrafted offensive player left. There are several good LB's left, such as Kaden Elliss, Daiyan Henley, Nakobe Dean, and Jamien Sherwood.
32 teams, that's just craziness, and yes, I'd Milk ain't in that league, he's cursing you somewhere.

You'll definitely be using some safeties and DE's.

You guys must be doing team quarterback with 32 teams. Otherwise there's a very good chance somebody doesn't have a starting quarterback every week and I can't imagine that would be any fun for anybody involved.

Each NFL team is represented. You each get a captain from your team, but it can't be a QB. I'm the Niners and my captain is CMC.

What site do you use ??And is it a money league??

I ask because that was a problem I was facing last year. For 32 teams it either had to be a money league, or the few that didn’t force the money league didn’t have the options we needed to start a similar league.

It's a free league on Sleeper. Just saw someone post about it online and I joined to run the Niners.
