Yep, he sure doesn't need much help - - even if next yrs draft is crap. He'll end up trading those picks for something golden. ...

Well thanks Harold, I appreciate that. Keep trying to solve the defense problem to no avail.
We'll send you the Bears DST for a 1st. ..... :D

If it helps, word on Sutton outta the Denver dudes is that he's a full go. Fantrax may not buy that in their projections, but maybe it eases your mind?

It does. I figured hes good. Just more commenting on rankings. Honestly im on board with some experts. Lock helps sutton more, teddy helps jeudy more. Well see what happens.

mehh..Teddy likely helps the Rb's and Fant more.
Juedy is a great route runner, but he's outside and generally running that intermediate to deep routes. Patrick would likely be more the "big slot", "possesion", WR type.

I dont' think that Teddy would "hurt" Juedy by any means, but I think both Sutton and Juedy would have bigger, albeit less consistent, numbers with Drew.

BTW..update on that form what I've heard, Teddy is, as expected, better on getting the completions, has been making some plays downfield, quicker on the progressions, all that stuff. Drew has improved greatly on those things, but still isn't as good at the nuances as Teddy is, and can simply make throws that Teddy doesn't have the physical capabilities of doing.. however, the biggest issue is, that Teddy is consistently throwing INT's in the red zone at practice (as is Drew) , but if the point is to go with Teddy because he's the safer, more consistent option, yet he still makes the same bonehead mistakes that Drew does in money time, why play it safe? Might as well go with the guy that opens up the field and excites the fan base

Poor Patrick. All he did was ball out, and all the Broncos do is draft receivers. I’m sure there’s half a dozen NFL teams who would take him and plant him at WR1.

well, you just remarked on Thomas. I think the Saints would be one. Eagles. Ravens. Jets. Patriots. Raiders.

maybe that’s pushing it for some of you, but there’s a few more where he’d make a dandy #2.

Packers. Bears. Texans.

at least WR2 for sure. guy reminds me of Eric Decker or maybe even Rod Smith, never really got the respect they deserved, from pretty much anyone outside of maybe Elway himself, they just went out and friggin balled

I was thinking Ed McCaffrey, but Decker is a good comp.

Saints maybe yeah. The others i dont think theyd take him as their 1.

Eagles i dont think hed be even a 2.

Pats yeah a 2 most likely

ravens, nah they have a few high draft choices and watkins

Jets have davis as the one. Keean cole is turning heads as is moore. Crowder still there.

raiders still have edwards and ruggs they invested in and have hype.

bears love arob and mooney

packers yeah maybe actually

texans… ehhhh i dunno they just traded for anthony miller and really like nico collins. Coutee supposedly having a great camp. And cooks is entrenched there.

slim pickings around the league

Denver had a second round tag on him this spring. I don’t think Detroit would give anywhere near that tbh.

Ty Williams most likely gets his first crack at being a #1 option.

yes. Every team has receivers. Money and draft status and contract and all that aside. If they could all drop their sixth guy and add Patrick, I think he would be better than who they like and who might be good someday.
I think he’s better than a #3/4.
Eagles have a bunch of fast athletes playing the position. I don’t see Smith lasting a season. He is like Hollywood. In fact, I think I’ll call him Bollywood. Or better yet, Ballywood. :)

slim pickings for sure though…there’s probably practice squad guys who should be starting, who knows. If I’m the Broncos, I’m looking to sell his production. As much as having him as insurance makes sense, are they a contender that needs insurance, or are they looking up at the Chiefs and Chargers?

that said, maybe nobody would offer anything but a 4th, in which case I’m just yelling at the wind.

Well, 51 rec for 740yrds and 6tds certainly isn't bad given the offense and QB play. ..... but a #1 just doesn't seem very likely.

Well again, there's a perception that due to him not having the big pedigree, there nothing about him that pops, he's not really thought of in that way, whether that's league wide or from a fans perspective.

He's just a random WR who just happens to be a "maximum effort" type who finds a way to just simply produce. He'd find a starting role on plenty of teams, but no, no one is going to give a #2 for him. But had Denver not tendered him, and he became a FA, he would've had no shortage of suitors
