The number 1 all around player in the NBA is Kevin Love. The man can do everything. If you disagree then you're an idiot.

You better get some assets if you want him in purple and gold. I am guessing Minnesota is going to have 5 or 6 teams coming after him this off season, ready to hand future picks and players
Dreams, I am a nets fan this year only out of respect to Paul and kg. they made concessions to go their and allow Boston to obtain what looks like 4 lottery picks.
You will see soon enough how that move eventually works to bringing amazing talent, all while he other old superstar Kobe keeps la mediocre, and unable to create the assets as quickly. Kobe spent the last few days networking in Boston for how to spend the latest 50m
You have been fleeced

He is the best rebounder in the game... and I would go as far as saying probably the best PF in the game. But best player? The guy isnt insanely athletic and his defense is just average at best. Kevin Love isnt even the best forward in the west named Kevin.
Rule, anyone who trades for love will include love signing an extension. Thats typical method.
Yes, the lakers did not do this, and they lost the assets they used to acquire Howard. I don't see other management teams making that mistake.
I suspect it will take matching salaries, either a decent play and say 4 picks, or maybe as high as 5 picks for love. Love in essence will get some control where he wants to go.
Or....Minnesota actually gets him resigned.m they will need to move soon, next year on this decision
You can't force Love to sign an extension. If Love wants to test free agency in the summer of 2015, he will.
