Seems like a pretty strong group, though no token big man.

Lillard is still possible participant in 3-pt contest which would make him the first NBA player to participate in the rookie/soph game, skill challenge, 3-pt contest, dunk contest, AND all-star game. crazy.

Lebron should have at least done one. I mean he is worried about his rep if he does bad but he joined Wade and Bosh to build a super team in Miami so which is worse in terms of your rep and how you want it to be? making a Super team or failing in a dunk contest?

Yeah, I wish he would do one, it would've been much easier for him to do when he was younger. If he did one now, it would be the entire focus of all-star weekend and anything short of a run-away, dominating victory would result in endless criticism of him (win or lose).

Ehh. Nique considers himself as a better in game dunker then contest one but he still was in 5 dunk contests and won 2 of them. One of them when he was 30 in 1990.

Everything has practically already been done. That's why participants started bringing out props (i.e. cars). Tough to get excited about the dunk contest anymore.

Desmond Mason vs Jason Richardson one I thought was nice.

Desmond going for his 2nd in 3 years why Jrich was going for back to back titles made it even better.

Vince Carter was the best dunker in a dunk contest for my money...and it never gets the credit, but the battle he had with T-Mac and Steve Francis was one of the best of all time. Going back to Vince, he put on a great show, and that 1st dunk was sight to behold, just incredible
