With a week before free agency, I decided to take a shot at what I would like to see happen.

Cuts: Norman, Brown, McGee, Foster, Davis and Reed. Minus cap for draft picks leaves us at about 35 million.

Trade: 3rd Round pick for Josh Rosen

FA (years vary by contract):
Steven Nelson(25) = CB. 9 million a year
Adrian Phillps (26) = FS. 6 million a year
Clayton Geathers = SS. 6 million a year
Adam Humphries (26)= Slot WR. 6 million a year
Shaq Barrett(26) = OLB. 5 million a year

Draft
1st: Trade back and get an extra 3rd. T.J. Hockenson = TE
2nd: Dalton Risner = Guard
3rd: Germane Pratt = ILB
3rd: David Stills = WR
5th: Myles Gaskin = RB
5th: Marquis Blair = Safety
6th: BPA
7th: BPA
7th : BPA

Again, I don't have the contract specifics with the free agents, but this plan address all major holes. TE depth and ILB depth is a concern.

Sorry man but I have to ask...If we trade a 3rd rounder for Rosen, who's going to play QB? At this point Colt's probably the better choice.

You can’t spend 32 mil out of 35 and sign picks and cover injuries . The thoughts are good
