I think he just may be done, period. Wouldn't be surprised to see him hang up the skates and start his after-hockey career.

I could see a team float him an offer for pretty cheap.

You might be right. Thank god the Wings are already stacked at the injury prone forward position.

I wouldn't mind Darcy giving him like $2 million a year for 2 years. More or less just to mentor the young guys and be a locker room presence.

Drury can still play, he just can't play up to his contract. He'd be valuable to someone on a cheap deal.

i'd love for the flyers to go after him as a 3rd line center.. get some leadership in there, a sound PK'er, and a guy that can win draws

he's good at those right?

As a Bruins fan I would love him on our team at a lower end cost. Guy does compete. He wont be asked to be a top line forward so he could do well. I would not drop much $$ to get him though.

So Drury would basically take Recchi's spot? He'd probably accept a deal from the Bruins since he's from Connecticut.

He is a winner with a winner attitude. I would gladly take him on with the premise that he 3rd or 4th line center and there to provide the team with solid defense.

I think he would do very well in that role. As a top forward/center he will fail.
