i dont like any of the trade up possibilities

If its the 49ers, I would trade the 34th pick to them for there 2nd and two 3rd's. It still leaves them with a pick in the 3rd b/c they have 3 3rd round picks total this year. They could be desperate enough to do it.

I don't think desperation is necessarily the right word, Dean. WANT is more of what I was thinking. SF has a great team already, adding a late 1st AND a de-facto late 1st with our #34 pick could net them 2 impact players that could put them over the top .. this year. I don't follow them closely enough to know what their needs or wants are, but I would imagine another solid defensive player/pass rusher and a game changing WR might be what they would be looking at. Although adding quality depth and searching for diamonds in the rough are great... they seem to be in pretty good shape there ... an enormous amount of later picks does little for them.

With that being said, Our #34 for their #56 with either the #77 OR #94 and #100 would be fair trades for both parties. I would like to see it happen. I would rather have the #77, but could you imagine a late 2nd and 3--3rd rounders. That would be sweet in this deep draft. BUt we would have to really hit on at least 2 or 3 of those picks to make it worth it.

The cant trade the #100 pick b/c its a compensatory pick. So if we get #77, #94, and #61 for #34 that would be huge.

Didn't know that. But Yeah. That would be sweet. They would have to absolutely be in love with the player that they wanted (or someone else liked them ALOT too) to give us 3 picks to move up 15 or so spots.. Going strickly by points, the #34 vs. #56/#77 are damn near equal. Stranger things have happened though.
