Twelve team, half PPR. I have the 11th pick. If I could get Jimmy Graham and Aaron Rodgers with my first two picks is that a decent strategy or will it put me too far behind the 8 ball with RBs and WRs? Thoughts? Thanks.

I think it would put you behind the 8 ball. I would rather go WR/WR or RB/WR. Really depends on who drops out of the WR's and RB's on which way I would go. Twelve team league I don't consider taking a QB in the early rounds. I wouldn't take a Graham either. I did it in one of my dynasty leagues about 3 years ago and my RB/WR core is still trying to recover from it.

I would go Brees over Rodgers, but that's ticky tacky, it will definitely amplify the need to"hit"on those mid-late-round running backs and wide outs, but it's not at all impossible. Not a strategy I particularly like and would never do it myself, that's doesn't mean it can't be done.

personally, Id rather go Graham + top WR in that position. Actually, that's exactly what I did in our message board draft last weekend - Graham + AJ Green. (Megatron, Dez, Thomas were already gone).

Anytime you don't take RBs/WRs in the first 2 rounds, you will be behind in those spots. Cause only 1 TE, and 3 QBs AT THE MOST will be taken before your 3rd round pick. So that's 32 picks, minus 3 QBs and 1 TE, leaves you with 28 RBs/WRs that will be gone, before you even have 1.

Gotta really nail your mid-round picks with that strategy, but having Graham can ease the pain at either RB or WR, but probably not both.

GL - and let us know how it turns out, no matter what you do!

Any strategy can work. Just gotta do your homework. I wouldn't take a QB there. ..but that's me.

I can't fathom a scenario in which both are available to you anyways.

In any order that you'd like:

AP
Charles
McCoy
Forte
Lacy
Ball
Peyton
Megatron
D Thomas
Dez Bryant
Murray
Gio Bernard
Brees
AJ Green
Lynch

Never know what could happen, and any owner who's drafting on a hunch could paint a case to take these guys ahead of Graham/Rodgers, imo.

Meh. These teams aren't drafted by lists or robots. They're drafted by fans. Rodgers will go top 10. So will Graham. They ALWAYS do. Well, almost always. I just can't reasonably see a scenario in which both are available.

And anyone who takes Lynch or Bryant in the top 10 is an idiot.

Where did Graham go?

There's been a lot of propaganda out there on all the sites this year about drafting qb's later so that doesn't surprise me. Although, I don't agree with it. Rodgers is a top 15 guy at absolute worst.

An idiot, dolt, or dullard is an intellectually disabled person, or someone who acts in a self-defeating or significantly counterproductive way.

isnt posting or calling some one an idiot counterproductive

it sure is in these forms

Lots of Broncos touchdowns. Nice overall!

When Ebron fails you, may I suggest keeping an eye on Marcedes Lewis. Sneaky top 15 TE.
