You a Duck, too, best? I'm class of '04, and I lived in South Lake Tahoe from September of '06 to June of '08. I don't have a hard time rooting for Oregon State baseball players because U of O didn't have a baseball team when I went there (club team, bleh). I used to head up to Corvallis to watch Mark Prior pitch against the Beavs, and then marveled at Jacoby Ellsbury's abilities for two years. I rooted against them, but there isn't the visceral reaction that exists with Stephen Jackson, Ochocinco and Derek Anderson (though, that has turned more to pity).

I'm surprised we haven't come across each other before... or maybe we have and didn't know it. Either way, Fuck the Beavers! Seriously.

I've never paid much attention to the minors and draft signings but I've been keeping a close eye on this thread. The Susac signing got me pumped even though I don't know much about him

After Eugene, I stumbled into a management position at the House of Prime Rib in San Francisco. After two years of 50-60 hour weeks, I figured I was running out of time to be a snowbum, so me and a buddy packed our stuff, I got a gig waiting tables at Scusa on Ski Run and we played music at The Tudor every Ladies' Night. I had a blast, but I missed the ocean. I love the lake, but it just isn't the same. Of course, now I miss the mountains and snowboarding 100+ times a year.

Hope all is well, and if we did meet up, I wasn't an asshole to you. Shred up the back bowls at Sierra for me this winter!
