Draft isn't until June, but placements being set today at 5 (I assume Pacific? Can't see for sure).

LA Kings have 13.5 Percent Chance to Get No. 1 Pick at NHL Draft Lottery

Kings can't fall below 5th overall, which is the good news. 13.5% chance at first overall.

Looking at the percentages, every team that didn't make the Playoffs has a shot at 1st overall, so it'll be interesting if those teams hit (Which actually seems likely based on the percentages. More than half the chances fall outside the top 3 worst teams, so that makes it LIKELY to be one of those other teams. Kings-Devils-Avs make up 44% of the chances).

Chicago with a 3% chance at #3 and NYR with a 7.8% chance at #2.

That all really sucked. Watching it live, you knew once Chicago got slated, it was bad news for LA.

Who knows? Still have 3 picks in the Top 36, so hopefully put in the effort and find some solid guys. I think Chicago getting Kakko or Hughes would have been worse. At least Rangers and Jersey need a ton of help.

Hughes and kakko should be good, but its doubtful there is a franchise guy in the draft. Interested to see how the draft goes for the kings.
