if we are going to run the ball 100 times a game we need to keep da backs fresh

packers Khyri Thornton | DT, Southern Mississippi
I'm with shopson here, our backs we have on the roster now will do much better behind the OL we've put together.

Yeah, that sucks. It was looking like he could slide to the fourth, but I'm not surprised he didn't.

Like I said, Joyner is Another project and he's 5'8.

And why the hell do we NEED another stud D-lineman when we have 3 right now? All we need is a big body DT to fill in.. Pryor or another beast safety is a way better pick at 13. You go BPA when you already have a bad ass D -line?

Stupid.

Nix is gone so we can't get another pro bowl DT, SJ. T. Brooks would have been a better pick. I am getting a little tired of smallish RBs though. We still have Bennie and the jets but Pead and Richardson may be gone.

And my boy G. Jackson went to the Raiders. That would have been a helluva O-line. But I guess Their holding out for Yankey in the fourth.

Shopson don't be a douche. I never said how many yards he had. Don't go there.

KB had a nice game. But you always have to go by stats. You cannot use your brain and realize that the QB sucked for FSU for almost 3 quarters and couldn't hit a barn.

Don't get butt hurt cuz u love this stupid draft by the rams.

And looky there. Andrew luck gets a beast. Some teams know what the fuck they're doin!!

I'm out fellas. Sorry I'm disappointed. But I'm used to it.

At least we will be able to pound the rock just like I like. I just hope our secondary isn't dead last and I hope we can pass block next year. Maybe we get lucky and get Pierre Desir?

Later

We got a nickel CB not a S. I think the pick will be alright

Not a fan of Mason but...3rd round sounds about right

Here is the bottom line, once we drafted Robinson at #2 they were not drafting another lineman in the first 3 rounds. Fisher is satisfied with Long,Robinson,Wells,Saffold,Barksdale on the line with Barnes,Jones and a late round rookie on the bench.

Sorry SJ, but I am 100% in love with the Joyner pick. Dude is a THUMPER. He will step right in as the nickel guy and allow Tru to move outside. Also, we will draft Desir,Loston,Reynolds or Bailey in the 4th round... mark it down.

As for Tre Mason, I cannot be mad at that pick. It is obvious they want to run the ball A LOT!! Would I have rather seen us take Martavis Bryant there? Yes. But it is not like this kid will be Isaiah Pead. And BTW, pack your bags Pead!! :O)

So we traded up to get a 5'8 nickel guy? No he's a project safety. They think they have Earl Thomas. Lol

And Early in the 2nd round? Don't you think there were other quality nickel guys or project safety's out there later?

A starter would have been really nice. Lol

I think Joyner is going to really surprise you. Everyone one who allegedly means something in this draft coverage (Polian,Kiper,McShay,Billick,Mariucci,Gruden etc) have ALL said that while they maybe did not need to trade up to get him, Joyner will be a THUMPER in that defense and it was a great pick. That is where I agree. I think if that was the guy the Rams wanted, they could have gotten him without giving up the 5th rounder to do it.
Overall, this is the best 3 rounds of drafting a Rams group has done in DECADES..

On a side note... I was at BWW in St Peters on Thursday and met Kenny Britt. Dude is about as humble as you can get but has a HUMONGOUS chip on his shoulder and is ready to get to work proving EVERYONE wrong... I like that!!

Well, Snisher seems to be the psychological miracle workers as they have turned Janoris Jenkins and Chris Givens around and the players love playing for Fisher. Perhaps Britt will follow suit. If so, we have a better receiving corp than last year.

Joyner and Mason are total Fisher picks. Joyner is an undersized tweener but its a copycat league and the Honey Badger wrecked total havoc for Arizona last year. I think he'll be good.

Mason was a product of a great Auburn system. He is a total unknown outside of his combine numbers, really. I'm a bit lukewarm on that one but if our oline is good enough then he can be a workhorse type
