Yea, we had a sieve for stopping the run and YACs from receivers last year and I am not sure they fixed that problem yet. I suppose the Rams thought the penetration Donald would create would slow down these large yardage gains we saw last year from a number of opponents.

Oh I came into the draft wanting one of the top 2 safeties and then crying when the 2nd 2 safeties came off. I wanted us to trade back into the 1st to grab Ward! But the 1st safety went off the board kinda late, I can't hate as much on the Donald pick as I could on the Robinson pick.

We should've traded back and took Donald (even with Buffalo and took a deal that wasn't as amazing as we would've wanted but still good and still picking up their 1st next year) and then take Dix/Pryor (whoever FO thinks is better) at 13.

Joyner can't be the main safety. We still need a badass to run the backfield! I agree! But I can see Joyner playing for a team like the 9ers or the Seahawks and everyone hating the fact he's on that team.

I hope we consider next year's top safety as well though
