Similarities:

Good size.

Good athletes. Both like to get out and run.

Good arm.

Mechanics need work.

Trubs put up better college stats than Maye who had to play a lot of hero ball. His numbers dropped pretty significantly from his previous season.

Both went to UNC.

Maybe he's the next Trubs OR maybe he's Justin Herbert. Who knows. We will see. He defintely needs some development which the Pats can afford to let him sit.

But he's bigger, has better mobility and arm talent than Trubisky.
