Yep - Cousins must have sold the Vikings on Docton's 38 overall receptions for 570 yds when the two played together (heavy sarcasm). Redskins & Vikings both passed on Michael Thomas to draft WRs who they both just cut. Oh what could have been - lol.

Did I use the word sold? Treadwell has been as big if not bigger bust as Doctson. My post was that the Vikings might have asked what Cousin's thought of Doctson. Then too they may not have because Jay wanted Cousin's to throw more jump balls to Doctson then Cousin's was comfortable with. I don't think he is going to do much but stand on the sideline with Thielen, Diggs and Beebe in front of him.

Even if being serious my post was a dig at Docston - not you. I also did criticize Treadwell in my reply. To date both have basically sucked (given where they were selected). Perhaps either or both will use this as a chance to get better.

I think we will see Dox starting outside, or at least getting quite a few snaps, and getting Diggs back to the slot where he belongs.

I am light. Just making my point clear. It would be interesting to see if Dox can do anything somewhere else. He signed a one year contract so it is a prove it deal. Maybe being on the field with Diggs and Thielen helps him.

Peace. Yep - could be - really don't care. As with other ex-Redskins for the most part I don't give a shit about them once they are wearing another uniform unless they are playing vs. Skins.

One potential upside to all of this is that you are seeing a lot more WRs thrive who were not 1st rd picks like Docston, Treadwell, etc. Sure there are some high picks among the NFL leaders but as many or more who were drafted much lower (or not all like Thielen).

The current Redskins WR corps is made up exclusively of guys like this & while not elite they certainly have the potential to do relatively well - we will see. Likely they need to be supplemented in the future by a top notch WR but hopefully this is a good start.
