I have a problem with the guy receiving the most 1st place votes losing. Voting for 1 trophy, you should get to choose 1 player, not who was 2nd or 3rd or 4th or 5th best. Doughty got the most 1st place votes by not a lot, but a decent margin, but still lost. In other words, Doughty lost because more people thought Karlsson was the 2nd or 3rd or 4th best defenceman.

You get 1 vote and 1 vote only.Voting for 2nd to 5th best is ridiculous.

Shocker. Karlsson was awesome for me in the FHL this season, but he isn't even on the PK that much if at all - he isn't trusted.

The Norris used to be a great trophy but about 20 years ago it changed to the "Best 4th Forward Award". It's pathetic.

I was listening to NHL radio, on my way home. They said they were shocked that 20 voters didn't included Doughty in the top 5. They said these people must not stay up and watch late games or didn't take the vote serious.
