For purposes of familiar historical comparison, Wilson seems best compared to Joe Theisman, only a bit more athletic and the benefactor of a much more offensively friendly league. Very good players both.......superstars? Naw!!!

I've always said that Wilson is an average passing QB but better football player. Luck is clearly better than him and, if not a superstar, as close to one you'll get. He was a league leader in passing yards and TDs whereas Wilson's averages were close to the bottom. To put this in perspective, Seattle gave a lot dough to an aging RB. That ought to tell you something and that is that they don't trust their QB to pass.
