I love Baldwin and think he is an unheralded star but there is no way he should have seen this contract. He had a career year but even then barely broke 1,000 yards. Yes, he had 14 TDs but that is a fluke. That is an insane contract.

Without blaming Baldwin for such a bloated contract since he did deserve to get paid, he will never see $46M but $24M guaranteed for Doug freaking Baldwin? Imagine our team giving someone with Baldwin's talent a guarantee of $24M. I can honestly say, that will never happen in the SM era.
