Don't Trade Picks

Looking at this team, it is going to be a playoff team. Cup winner? unsure. BUT, whatever .... unless someone is offering up Crosby, Malkin or Stamkos...do not trade any more 1st or 2nd round picks. Hord them. For the next several years the Flyers should be doing everything they can to build organizational depth. That will mean drafting as many legitimate prospects as possible, not just the 4th-7th round projects.

The only problem with our 1st rounders, as I see it, is that we are usually picking so late in the 1st round. If we could pick between 5-8, we would get some real talent, like this year. Not sure who else to trade or who would bring us a 1st rounder, but I found the draft exciting this year. Keep our picks and get a few more and lets get some good young talent!!!!! Too bad we couldnt get a 1st for Versteeg.
