I don't think it was a great throw by Cousins. He's said as much himself on the radio this morning.

The loss is part Kirk but more the complete lack of a running game and a fail of a run defense yesterday, particularly late in the game.

I'd say the loss is part coaching, an inaccurate Cousins, our WRs making 4 catches outside of Crowder, our run defense having no answer to Devonta, our lack of a running game and our lack of ability to make key blocks at crucial times...

Cali.. .what should jump out to everyone is that our #1 back doesnt have a single TD five games into the season. I know some around here were ready to write him off and trade him away for the highest draft pick we could get. I think the coaches need to sit down and figure out who the top dog is and quit trying to be cute at this point.

Ok - basically agree & I would start Jones (if healthy) & use Thompson more. If Jones is not healthy then keep running Morris until he breaks a few. One of the keys on this will be to make the passing game more effective so teams can't stuff the box making running plays very difficult. I certainly hope that Jackson returns soon to help improve this area.

Winner-winner chicken dinner!!! Our best draft choice showed what he is capable of and I'm excited to see how Crowder progresses. How we let 1, yes 1 player beat us Sunday is beyond me and inexcusable. With a very accurate summary Cali laid out, basically says we have a long way to go and need many more talented draft pics to right this ship. Right now, we are taking baby steps and must be patient but even that is really hard.

Nobody said it would be easy. The easy approach doesn't work - the Redskins have tried that many, many times in the recent past & you have seen the results. We should not be expecting perfection at this time. Instead we should be looking for progress, and personally I have seen quite a bit of that this season.
