I dont know what the WFT should do with Alex Smith at halftime.

He clearly cant move but he also hasnt made a bad throw yet.

All it takes is one hit on that ankle and not a big hit. Or someone stepping on it. Like they did in the Pitt game. Or even a teammate.

If we max protect and run the ball Smith should be fine. They are putting him with no back and 5 wide. IF we cant run on this defense something is wrong.

That is the key. The WTF need Smith not to screw up ... make a few plays and JDR and the D to make some adjustments.

I didn't take it as you picking on me. You simply disagree with me. That's cool.

And while Alex isn't the Skins QB of the future. He may indeed be the Skins QB for 2021 or he'll at least be all up in the mix. Unless perhaps something happens to that calf and that puts next year in serious doubt far as availability.

Also if the Skins win tonight, but he can't go next week cuz he tweaked that calf too much. The Skins would be better off losing tonight from a purely pragmatic standpoint.
