If you're deciding where to go to school? Does it matter if there's 1k or 100k watching?

Personally, I always felt like I had more in front of a big crowd. It made me feel good to compete in front of so many people, and you pick up extra energy from the crowd.

Was just thinking about some of those schools that have so much "tradition" and "prestige" but they can't consistently fill a 50k football stadium or 7k basketball arena, even when they're competing for conference titles.

I'm sure it has at least some part in the equation. Getting the recruits at a home game in front of a packed house 80-100k has to leave an impression. Then you have Baylor with a damn good class this year, probably the best in school history, all while playing in a HS stadium. Tenny has 100k plus and not exactly impressing anyone in the recruiting rankings.

The way it seems to me is it's all about what have you done for me lately kind of attitude. Start getting your ass handed to you in the big games time after time and you lose the recruits as well. Sounds awfully familiar.
