Does NU's Offense now have an "identity"?

we're running the same offense as last year.. and i wouldn't call it Oregon's

We were led to believe it would be Oregon's style. No huddle, fast pace, attacking, etc..

I think there are coaches quotes out there referencing Oregon.

I agree that's not what we saw the majority of the time.

Yeah

But don't you agree that's what many were expecting going into the season based upon the interest in Frost and by the description of the coaches in what they were gonna do?

The only consistent no huddle, fast paced stuff I remember was second half against Ohio St.

We made a mockery of the belly-G at times. The execution was downright sad.

Oregon does it so much better than us, we don't belong in the same conversation.

It all comes back to BLOCKING. We have the skill position athletes to compete with anyone.

we could run a bama style with a mobile Qb, that would work.
We could run an Oregon style with a decent O Line, that would work,
we could do anything we wanted to if we had the right players, we need linemen before you can have allstar running backs,

Rex is awesome but think about how good he could be with a great line in front of him!

The only thing consistent about that offense is it's inconsistency. I don't have much hope for them to acquire an identity any time soon.
