does davis have a big season ?

my take is he had better because if reed shows he is a playmaker then why pay davis ? i agree with tandler 's view on this and that davis needs to score more

I'm not so sure. I think he will have 60-70 receptions for 700+ yds. Good season, not crushing it. The reason why I can see this happening is that RG3 will be spreading the ball around to about 5 or 6 different targets so I don't see anyone with huge numbers. Also, I bet they really try and work Reed into the scheme more and more as the season go on. I think Davis is a very good TE, but he has yet to prove to me that he is an elite TE.

Yeah, five seasons with one year over 700 yards does not equal elite. Talent is there, but I think he ends up more Michael Westbrook than Chris Cooley after it all shakes out.

I agree with you that the ball is going to get spread out. Garcon will be the big play guy - don't see anyone else hitting 1,000 yards this year.

Yeah Fred has the potential to be elite, but i think he'll be more of a good to very good TE. I think he'll have around 60 catches for about 740 and 6td's....I'm intrigued to see how K. Shanahan includes Jordan Reed into the Offense. Maybe a H-Back or Hybrid WR/TE.

If he's fully healthy, he could have a 1000 yard season. He was on pace to get close to that mark last year. And had a great year prior to that with garbage QBs. Garcon will be featured but Davis will have a lot of opportunities.

If he can get back to where he was at the start of last year, he will have a great year. I think he has a slow start and then does well the last half of the season. He will still be getting back into live game-speed, and his QB will be doing the same. They may both be 100% rehabbed, but still takes actually getting out and getting hit and making plays to trust their respective repairs.
