Does Dallas have the worst Defense in the NFL?

Oh my God that was a piss poor display of defense. They stopped......uh.....nothing.

They said after the game that only 3times this year have teams have allowed their competitor to go all game without a punt. Dallas has two of those games.

If this team somehow makes the playoffs they have "One and done" written all over them.

Even though I wouldn't put the blame squarely on Kiffin. They have used 19 or so different defensive lineman, not quite sure about the linebackers or secondary.

Dallas is the only defense in the NFL to have given up 45 + pts (45, 49 and 51) three times this year.

It's also the only defense that could lose a game when their offense scores 48 points.

well injuries definitely played a part in why the defense is so bad, but last year injuries played a major part & they still fired Ryan. Kiffin's Defense ranking as the Worst Cowboys defense ever. Just don't see him making it to next year. Even before the injuries though this defense gives up to many 1st downs on 3rd down. I just cant see this defensive coaching staff staying in tact by next season.

But the Bears rush defense might be the worst rush defense in NFL History. They now have tied an NFL record by giving up 100 yards or more to 6 straight running backs. I think they are giving up over 225 yards a game on the ground. It is a disaster.

I remember when they said they were going to switch defenses. My concerns on that were that you'd be putting a square peg in a round hole as the Cowboys don't really have the people to run the cover 2, AND that if it worked it would take a while.

You weren't going to just flip a switch on this.

Ironically, Tony Romo seems to be having a great year and when they're able to run, DeMarco Murray gets the job done. But when you're down by 21 points, the running game goes out the window.

The person that deserves to get fired is Jerry Jones - but we've known that for well over a decade now.

As long as it's the Jerry Jones show in Dallas, they'll struggle to be mediocre.

Lack of depth and injuries aside, I said to anybody that would listen hiring Monte Kiffin was a horrendous move. Football is too fast and there is too much going on at once, too many adjustments need to be made throughout a game, a 73 year old is not capable of keeping up with it. The game has passed him by.
